Red Lentils

This weeks ingredient is Red Lentils.

Red Lentils are such a versatile ingredient and can be added to soups, chillis, curries, stews. They don’t need to be soaked and cook in about 20 minutes. Lentils are low in calories, almost fat-free, packed with protein as well as being high in fibre. They are cheap and nourishing.
